Description
Description
Please Note: This hinge has been discontinued by the manufacturer. We have left this product page up for reference only. This was a very unique hinge (due to many different factors) that has no exact replacement options. The unique factors were as follows:
- 48mm Screwhole center to center
- 1-1/8" Overlay
- 135 Degree opening angle
- One piece compact design
The closest replacement option we carry would be a Grass 170 Degree hinge for face frame cabinets. This is our SKU# B10152 which can be found by clicking here or under related products below. This hinge provides a large opening angle (170 degrees) while also having a 48 mm screwhole center to center. It only provides a 3/4" overlay, however, and would require you to notch out your cabinet frame (as seen here) to achieve a 1-1/8" overlay. The Grass hinge is also a much larger two piece setup as opposed to the small one piece design that this hinge provided.
- One piece compact European hinge
- For face frame cabinets with overlay doors
- Accommodates overlays from 26 mm to 29 mm (1-1/32" to 1-1/8")
- Shallow cup depth of 10 mm
- Made for door thicknesses from 5/8" to 3/4".
- Made for face frame thickness of 3/4".
- This hinge requires a 6 mm (1/4") bore distance. The bore distance is the distance from the edge of the door to the edge of the 35mm cup drilled in the back of the door.

Some of your hinges are sold by the each and some sell by the pair. What is the difference?
When the unit of measure says “pair” that means two hinges. Usually you need one pair of hinges per door. When the unit of measure says “each” that means one hinge. You would usually order 2 “each” hinges per door.
I want to replace my hinges. How do I make sure the screw holes on the new hinge match the screw holes on the old hinge so I do not have to redrill the holes?
I want to replace my hinges. How do I make sure the screw holes on the new hinge match the screw holes on the old hinge so I do not have to redrill the holes?
Unfortunately, hinge manufacturers have never standardized the location of their screw hole patterns. Every manufacturer puts their screw holes in a slightly different place. This means that when you replace hinges you will almost certainly have to do some filling and redrilling. The exception to this is Architectural door hinges which are built to a standardized template for each size hinge.
