Locinox is an industry-trusted gate hinge manufacturer that is well-known for its commitment to excellence through trial-tested products. They test every hinge for 500,000 cycles to ensure functionality and durability, helping them stand out from other inferior products from competitors. If you're building a gate for your home or a client location, you'll need an option that will keep the gate locked in place. Dropbolts are a great way to ensure the gate remains closed since they've got to be pushed down in order to properly lock. Consider the Locinox hot dipped galvanized dropbolt, which easily installs and retrofits, so it can be used with many different gates.
This dropbolt comes at an affordable price point that will make it easy to stock up on whether you're a homeowner or homebuilder. It works by auto-locking between the double wings, so it's extremely easy to use. The Locinox hot dipped galvanized dropbolt is made of durable aluminum with a 5 1/2" throw. The drop bolt's height can be adjusted by four inches. The aluminum has been hot dipped, meaning it was coated with a layer of molten zinc to galvanize the metal. The zinc then acts as a protective layer, extending the life of your dropbolts while also looking very professional and attractive on metal gates. When deciding between materials, galvanized metal will be a lasting, maintenance-free investment. We include the mounting hardware with your purchase so the dropbolts can be installed right away. When you purchase 10 or more drop bolts, your order will qualify for a quantity discount. This is ideal for those building fencing with multiple gates or for installers who quickly go through these during the week. We help you save on high-quality gate hardware here at HardwareSource!

I want to replace my hinges. How do I make sure the screw holes on the new hinge match the screw holes on the old hinge so I do not have to redrill the holes?
I want to replace my hinges. How do I make sure the screw holes on the new hinge match the screw holes on the old hinge so I do not have to redrill the holes?
Unfortunately, hinge manufacturers have never standardized the location of their screw hole patterns. Every manufacturer puts their screw holes in a slightly different place. This means that when you replace hinges you will almost certainly have to do some filling and redrilling. The exception to this is Architectural door hinges which are built to a standardized template for each size hinge.
