Description
Description
- The best results are achieved when the touch latch is installed directly behind where you will be pushing the door to release the latch.
- This touch latch is invisible from the outside of the door.
- When you use a touch latch, no other hardware (e.g., a knob, pull, or latch) is needed on your door, giving it a clean look.
- Available in either black or white finishes only.
- How it works: Gently push in on the outside surface of the door. The door releases from the latch and pops outward.
- All mounting fasteners are included.
- The body and mounting plate are made from Zinc Alloy, the latch is a strong plastic polymer, the magnet is ferrite, and the strike plate is Stainless Steel.
- It is made for doors up to 96" tall and 36" wide, with a maximum weight of 275 pounds and a push force of 11 pounds.
- Ideal for use with the Sugatsune HES3D-E190 hinges found HERE.
- Passed the 100,000 open/close private cycle test.
- Magnetic force of 6.6 pounds.
- Will work on overlay and inset full size doors.

Some of your hinges are sold by the each and some sell by the pair. What is the difference?
When the unit of measure says “pair” that means two hinges. Usually you need one pair of hinges per door. When the unit of measure says “each” that means one hinge. You would usually order 2 “each” hinges per door.
I want to replace my hinges. How do I make sure the screw holes on the new hinge match the screw holes on the old hinge so I do not have to redrill the holes?
I want to replace my hinges. How do I make sure the screw holes on the new hinge match the screw holes on the old hinge so I do not have to redrill the holes?
Unfortunately, hinge manufacturers have never standardized the location of their screw hole patterns. Every manufacturer puts their screw holes in a slightly different place. This means that when you replace hinges you will almost certainly have to do some filling and redrilling. The exception to this is Architectural door hinges which are built to a standardized template for each size hinge.
