LokkBolt Locking Cane Bolt

Gate Material

Description

  • Heavy duty cane bolt for all metal, wood or vinyl gates. Ideal for double driveway gates.
  • Lokk Bolt is made by D & D Technologies.
  • "Metal Model" is for metal gates. "Wood/Vinyl Model" is for wood or vinyl gates.
  • Made from tough polymer construction. The rod is made from 316 grade stainless steel.
  • Built in keyed lock. Can be re-keyed by a locksmith to any Kwikset type key.
  • Bolt retention groove keeps the bottom of the cane bolt from dragging across your driveway (holds cane bolt in the up position).
  • Cane bolts are not handed. They will work on both left hand and right hand opening gates.
  • Comes complete with all fasteners and two keys.

Optional Base Plate:

  • An optional base plate is available for these cane bolts (our SKU 928019).
  • Sold separately and can be found under related products.
  • This base plate is approximately 5" in diameter and has an approximate projection of 5/8".
  • The base plate is made from polymer and attaches with 5/16" diameter lag bolts (not included but offered under related products).
  • If attaching to masonry or concrete you should use lag anchors (not included but also offered under related products).

All D&D Technologies’ (“D&D”) proprietary* products are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship to the original purchaser for as long as they own the product.

If a structural defect appears, the original purchaser may return the item, freight prepaid, together with proof of purchase to D&D or its approved international agents.

D&D or its agent will, at their discretion, repair or replace the defective item or part without charge to the purchaser.  THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY WHEN the product has been tampered with, when repairs or attempted repairs have been made by unauthorized persons, where the item has been subjected to misuse, abuse, accident or damage in transit, or where the installer has not followed the instructions set out during installation, operations or Maintenance Requirements.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. No warranty is given other than that set out above. No other express or implied warranties (including statutory warranties) apply, other than warranties which may not be legally excluded.

How long does it take to get my hardware once it's been ordered?

The delivery time depends on how far you live from our San Diego warehouse. Generally, your order will reach you in 1 to 5 business days. Shipments do not move on weekends and holidays.

Do you ship merchandise outside the United States?

At this time, we only ship to addresses in the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. Some of your hinges are sold by the each and some sell by the pair. What is the difference?

When the unit of measure says “pair” that means two hinges. Usually you need one pair of hinges per door. When the unit of measure says “each” that means one hinge. You would usually order 2 “each” hinges per door.

I want to replace my hinges. How do I make sure the screw holes on the new hinge match the screw holes on the old hinge so I do not have to redrill the holes?

Unfortunately, hinge manufacturers have never standardized the location of their screw hole patterns. Every manufacturer puts their screw holes in a slightly different place. This means that when you replace hinges you will almost certainly have to do some filling and redrilling. The exception to this is Architectural door hinges which are built to a standardized template for each size hinge.
